Biography

My early life was full of adventure, spent amidst the beauty of nature in my remote village without even having a proper road connection to the rest of the world. Sometimes, even I had to walk 20-25Km to the nearest railway station or 2-5 Km, swim across the river to get a bus to the towns and other parts. I have done my primary schooling at Chakla Lower Primary School in my village. I also completed my high schooling (Class x in 1996) in the same village at Chakla Higher Secondary School followed by my secondary education (class XII in 1998) at Nabajyoti College, Kalgachia, spending nearly two hours daily on foot to reach there. After passing high school education, I started supporting my parents economically through working in fields to grow vegetables, taking tuition, and other daily works to earn pennies. Although I qualified for medical courses thrice, I could attend the medical school only on the third time in the year 2002 due to financial constraints and others
