I have developed this score by using ANN (artificial neural network) analysis to find the predictors which predicts the requirement of the need for multiple passes and puncture for successful spinal-arachnoid puncture. The score can be used for providing information to the patient, obtaining informed written consent, planning a spinal or lumber puncture and even research purpose. Please go through the full article at https://www.cureus.com/articles/131978#!/ Alternatively you can find the article from PubMed Central

The DSP Score is based on the ANN study aimed to find the predictors from 300 procedures performed under direct observation of me and the study is available from https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36699768/ or https://www.cureus.com/articles/129646#!/
