An algorithmic approach to evaluate a critically or acutely ill patient presented in the critical care and emergency department. It proposes using point-of-care ultrasound in a multiorgan integrated way and as an adjunct assessment tool along with physical and systemic examination for diagnosing the possible etiologies. Developed and proposed primarily by Dr. Habib Md Reazaul Karim and critically appraised, assessed, and co-developed by Dr. Chinmaya Kumar Panda and Prof. (Dr) Mohd. Yunus.
